There are a few countries that do not require an Indonesian visa to enter the country, including the following: Brazil, Canada, France, Italy, Germany, Japan and the Netherlands. Travelers from these nations who are in possession of a valid passport are eligible to apply for the e-Visitor Visa at the embassy or consulate in their home country.

For those traveling on business to Indonesia, you will need a Business Visa Cover Letter from your employer and a copy of your company's letterhead. The letter must indicate the name and address of your company, the number of days you will need the visa, and the dates on which you will be in Indonesia.

If you are applying for a visa by mail, you will need to include a pre-paid, stamped and self-addressed envelope. This will be used to mail your passport and visa documents back to you once the application has been processed.

Passport Requirements in Indonesia
