The Vibrant History of delhi satta king

Delhi Santosh, that is the name of the ancient temple of Lord Jagannath at the place called Malwa was considering a living link with Saraswati temple in Varanasi. This temple was so well known in India that people worshiped it with devotees for more than two thousand years before its conversion into a mosque.

According to the legend, the holy king Chaitanya used to feed his devas with the stones of river Ganga. He used to drink from it and become the victim of demon poison. Being poisoned, he returned to his kingdom.

This city of Delhi was the capital of the kingdom for thousand of years. People used to perform rites there and when the memory of the king's death arrived to the holy place, some people started worshipping the sandalwood idols.




On the first day of Raksha Bandhan festival, the remaining sandalwood idols and all the temples, including the temple of Lord Jagannath, were cleansed and the Satta King, which was lost during the time of changing the place of worship of the temple to mosque, was brought back. The status of this place had changed. Many new temples were constructed in this place.

The satta king is not only about its precious Jyotish stone but also the legendary Mahabharata. It is believed that Lord Jagannath had stolen the place of worship from Lord Maha-Bhagavat and had converted it into this temple. The legend of the place has become popular among people by holding the title "Satta Sri Krishna".

The Satta Manas of temple is over three meters high. The holy place is surrounded by a moat, which is four feet deep. People visit this place to meditate and to worship the devil.

The Delh's world famous temples like Rajpath, Fatehpur Sikri, Sri Chakra, Shant Mahal, etc are scattered throughout the city of Delhi. Since many foreign tourists visited the city of Delhi, many foreigners had sought for the traditional Indian traditional hospitality in the hotels and other places. People even use the traditional Indian food for their diet as it is cheap and tasty.
